Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a heavy saucepan, add whole milk, light brown sugar, melted butter, egg, all-purpose flour, ground cinnamon, and salt.
- Whisk Until Smooth: Whisk the mixture until it’s smooth and all the ingredients are fully combined.
- Cook the Mixture: Place the saucepan over medium heat. Continue whisking constantly as the mixture cooks.
- Thicken the Sauce: Cook for 10 to 12 minutes until the sauce thickens and can coat the back of a spoon.
