Chocolate Frosting Recipe


Ingredients

  •  1/2 cup unsalted butter
  •  1 tsp Vanilla extract
  •  1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  •  1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  •  1/2 cup melted dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Ensure all ingredients are measured and ready to use.
  2. Combine Butter and Vanilla: In a large mixing bowl, add 1/2 cup of unsalted butter and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  3. Sift Dry Ingredients: Sift 1 cup of powdered sugar and 1/4 cup of cocoa powder into the bowl with the butter and vanilla.
  4. Mix Until Creamy: Using an electric mixer, blend the ingredients on medium speed until the mixture reaches a creamy consistency.
  5. Add Heavy Whipping Cream and Melted Chocolate: Pour in 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream and 1/2 cup of melted dark chocolate.
  6. Mix Again: Continue mixing with the electric mixer until everything is well combined and smooth.
  7. Chill: Place the mixture in the fridge for 1 hour to set.
  8. Enjoy: Your mixture is now ready to be used as frosting or enjoyed as a decadent treat!
